Don'ts
- We know you will love the shoes but please give them the day off to allow them to air out. Like us, our sandals need tender loving care too.
- Never use artificial heat or direct sunlight to hasten the drying process as it may damage the suede/leather.
- Never machine wash your sandals but if it does get wet in the rain, pat it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally.

I'd suggest trying our Anytime flats or Softe sneakers as they allow the shoelaces to be adjusted for girth.

I have previously worn the anytime flats and found it to be comfortable with issues with the sizing. From that experience, I decided to purchase the travel flats online without trying it on at the store. The travel flats turned out to be ill-fitted, and I suffered blisters and cuts on my foot. Given the pricing, I would have expected it to fare better.

In regards to the fit, if the shoe is slightly too big, you can try inserting an additional flat insert under the footbed to reduce the volume inside the shoe. This may help prevent slipping.

Lovely sales assistant. However encountered some chaffing at the heels on my first time warring the shoes out.

Thank you for your feedback on our Travel Flats in Fog. We are happy to hear that you had a pleasant experience with our sales assistant. However, we note you encountered some chaffing at the heels while wearing our shoes for the first time.
We understand that this can be uncomfortable and we want to help resolve this issue for you. One solution could be to apply wax on the inside of the heel counter. This will help reduce friction and prevent chaffing. Alternatively, you can also try using cushion padding on the inside of the shoe. This will provide extra support and cushioning for your heels.
This issue happens as the archillle's heel curvature of everyone's feet is different. (Most people have a curved AH while some have a straight AH and that means their AH is contacting the heel counter of the shoe more than the others. this also explains why many people found the same shoe super comfortable). With time, the shoes will soften and become more comfortable. In the meantime, we hope these hacks will help alleviate the chaffing. I have slender feet. Anothersole shoes compliments those with wide feet. I am a size 38 but at Anothersole I had to get a size down. Length wise the travel flats fits my Greek feet. Width wise, it is too broad. I find that as walk, the sides "opens" outwards. It doesn't look nice and elegant that wearing pumps should look. Also the shoes need some breaking into. I wore for a day and develop blisters on the back of my heel. Frankly, I would not consider getting another pair from Anothersole. I had wanted to support this homegrown shop.

I have spoken to our founder Benny (as he has decades of experience in shoes) about your needs and he suggested to look into brands with narrow, medium and wide fits(usually larger brands) and you can check out USA AMAZON. Also explore Everlane.com for their day or glvoe flats as they have shoes that are generally narrower in fit compared to anothersole. (Pls note these are our personal suggestions not endorsements)

Comfortable slip-ons, rubber strap is a bit tight for my feet

This can happen to some wearers if they have higher ridge (girth) than the average fit. We suggest trying to insert some rolled up newspaper into the shoes (under the elastic) to help stretch out the elastic over a few days for it to relax more better fit your feet. Comfy shoe, so easy to put on, it's become a go-to in my collection. I bought this in the Sun Kiss colour way which I thought would be coral, but is beige, which was a bit disappointing. The website should describe the colours more clearly. Otherwise no complaints.
